I will repeat this saying a few times, “Unfortunately, I’m not one of those girls who knew exactly what my wedding was going to be like.” Honestly, you would think a year would be long enough, but I could have used another year. Now I’m really getting into seeing how many great things are out there. One of the biggest challenges for us has been the cake. I found a cake design the first month I started planning in Martha Stewart weddings, but I just had to see if there were others out there. I spent the weekend before last looking at over 6,000 photos of cakes. I needed an intervention, but every time Mike asked what I was doing I just said “working on the wedding” so it is not his fault that my cake psychotic-ness continued.
